MK7 GOLF R - APR Catback Exhaust System

The APR Catback Exhaust System personalises your vehicle's looks, sound and performance. Beautifully hand-crafted T304-stainless-steel components adorn the system with stunning TIG-welding throughout. Our straight-through brushed-finished mufflers smooth the exhaust note to a deep growl, without adding restrictions, while our Helmholtz resonator reduces unwanted frequencies. Strong high-quality bracketry and OEM-style clamps hold the system steadily in place, making the install or removal a snap, and fitment simple, yet precise. A cast 3" to quad 2.5" rear splitter creates an ultra-smooth transition, steadily feeding exhaust gasses out of the system, while looking tidy from under the rear bumper. Our cast valve housings enable the vehicle to be fitted with the factory electronic valve actuators, retaining OEM valve operation.  Finally, removable 4" polished slash-cut exhaust tips finish the system, adding a classy motorsport-inspired touch to the rear of the vehicle.

APR Ultracharger Throttle Body Upgrade – 3.0 TFSI – C7 A6/A7

This is the APR Ultracharger System. The APR Ultracharger System dramatically increases horsepower and torque, and maximizes the power potential of the 3.0 TFSI. It removes a massive pre-supercharger restriction, allowing uninterrupted airflow into the supercharger for up to an astonishing 542 HP with APR's Supercharger and Crank Pulleys. Stunning carbon fiber and smooth cast-aluminum adorn the system, creating a clean and simple install that looks just as powerful as it is. Finally, APR's innovative Ultracharger ECU Upgrade delivers a smooth and exciting driving experience, and it is included as a free upgrade to all who own an APR Stage II ECU Upgrade. The Restriction The factory throttle body is a massive power-robbing restriction. Its cross-sectional area is ~25% smaller than the supercharger's inlet, causing airflow to plummet at high supercharger speeds. It's responsible for losses as high as 33 HP! The Solution The APR Ultracharger Throttle Body is huge. Its cross-sectional area is ~28% larger than stock, and an additional 5% larger than the supercharger's inlet. It completely eliminates the throttle body as a point of restriction and allows for maximum airflow into the supercharger. The APR Ultracharger ECU Upgrade APR's incredible Ultracharger ECU Upgrade is why it all just works. It delivers an outstanding driving experience, packed with a smooth daily driving, thrilling wide open throttle acceleration, and unmatched performance. APR Brakes – Replacement Pads – Advanced Street / Entry-Level Track Day

This compound will offer similar characteristics to our High-performance Street compound in terms of having a slightly rising torque curve during a single application. It will offer a little less initial bite as you engage the brake pedal under normal street driving conditions. This material also takes a little longer to bed in and prefers to be run at slightly higher operating temperatures in order to maintain the friction film that is put down on the disc surface during the bed-in procedure. This material can be run to higher max operating temperatures than our standard High-Performance Street compound while remaining fade-free. The additional heat range means that this compound can be used for entry-level track days. This makes this material a good choice for customers that would like to take part in occasional track days but do not want to change pads prior to these events.

APR Boost Leak Tester – Regulator

APR is pleased to present Boost Leak Testing Systems for various engine configurations. Boost leaks are a common cause for running issues and power loss on turbocharged vehicles. Leaks can come from scenarios as simple as a tiny hole in an intercooler or charge piping, a leaky connection, damaged DV or PCV and/or any number of other locations making troubleshooting very difficult. Furthermore, locating a leak is made more difficult due to the necessity to pressurizing the system, which typically only occurs while physically operating the vehicle. The APR Boost Leak Testing Systems allows for both visual and auditory inspection on a stationary vehicle. The kit allows for supplying and regulating a continuous supply of compressed air, typically via an air compressor, through the system. The process is simple: - Connect the adapter to the application specific connection location (usually at the turbocharger). - Connect the pressure regulator hose to the adapter's bung. - Ensure the pressure regulator is turned all the way down and then connect a continuous air supply to the regulator. - Pressurize the system to normal operating pressure. - Listen for leaks and spray soapy water on connections and look for bubbles to indicate a leak. Once the leak is found, simply take the necessary steps to stop the leak and go on enjoying more power and a better driving experience!
